I've owned a propane Brinkman smoker (think 35 gal drum) for a few years and only smoked venison jerky. I've wanted a NICE smoker since I got that one but just didn't see the quality for the money of the other ones. They always seemed cheaply built and I wanted one I would have for a lifetime. I found out about SmokinIt from 2 co-workers and they convinced me that I would be happy, and boy am I !!!

Good to hear JD, that kind of why I ended up with mine I went through a couple of the electric Brinkman bullet smokers and wanted to step up to something that would last me a lifetime also,
