HELP! WHAT WENT WRONG

Help! What went wrong?

Got my new smoker and decided to fire it up right away.
Here is what I did from start to finish.
I let my meat soak in liquid smoke for 12 hours,
Lined the boxy thing with holes in it with foil to hold the gasoline.
Put my meat, (now brined meat) on racks.
I got my gasoline, filled the lined box with roughly 1/4 inch and started my fire. That fire starter hole in the bottom was real handy.
Wow, good thing this smoker has three latches on the front.
It got so hot I thought something must be wrong.
This Manufacturer must know the business cause the hole in top
Was a perfect fit for my fire extinguisher hose, but the hose burn right off
I don't know how to swim so I finally found a good use for the swimming pool.
By the way, I appreciate that cord they put on the smoker to help me retrieve
From pool, but it needs to be stronger.

Don't know where I found this but it was saved in my notes. Got such a chuckle I thought I would attempt to bring some laughter.
Thanks to whoever created it. It did bring a chuckle from me.
Merry Christmas!

Doug, You got me! As I was reading this I thought how dumb can this guy really be! Lol. Thanks for the laugh.  :o

YUP! Doug reeled me in like a sunfish. The first sentence was believable as was the second. Soaking in liquid smoke? Some folks will try anything once. Sentence 4 is when I knew I had been had. In for a penny, in for a pound.  Read the whole thing.
