Hi Did not do this right a way just forgot. I am Ray (campcook) I picked that name as I do a lot of cooking for our RV club and the Elks. I had a propane smoker and liked it. It was given to me by someone who went to an electric smoker. I enjoyed learning to smoke from forums like this one and still have a lot to learn. My Wife suggested that after using the propane smoker for a year I should get an electric one. I asked a lot of friends which one was good with opinions all over the place. Did a lot of reading and chose the Smokin-it Model 1. I have a two burner stove and griddle for camping with a portable BBQ, I also deep fry and BBQ Turkey for Thanksgiving for our group. We also do a BBQ of the Vets in NV. every year, guess I will have to do something smoked for them once I get this down.
