Hello! - New #2 on the way

Welcome to the Smokin-It Forums!
It's always great to see a new owner come aboard.

When you get a chance, tell us a little bit about your smoking background (if you want to that is) and what types of food, cuts, etc that you are going to be smoking.

There is lots of great threads on this forum and many helpful folks here who will have answers for any questions that you may have.

Now for the hard part of waiting for your smoker to arrive. Luckily the shipping is super fast.
 
Thanks guys. I am new to smoking so I will defiantly be reading over the info in here. The main reason I bought the smoker was that my buddy smokes and his wife is from South Africa and they make some of the best homemade sausage with special spices that her family brings over from SA. My wife had it and said it was the best sausage she ever had. So I have access to the spices and to my buddies secret recipe so all that was missing was the smoker! But I will defiantly be doing ribs, PB, brisket etc. My family likes all of that so I will for sure be looking for all the tips.
Bring on Spring and Summer! Some smoked meat and some Victory Beer!

I  would try tonys recipe for ribs. You wont be disappointed.

Try the meathead memphis dust in the rubs section its real good.
