For the most part, where we live the temps are moderate, but with a fair amount of rain. (maybe 15 inches a year)  So I built a cover for my outdoor cooking and smoking.

Great job, I wish I lived in a moderate climate.  It's a whopping 25 here in NJ.

A bar across the front, with the same cedar siding.  Maybe a solid hickory plank top (with a resin coating), and of course some horse shoes and branding irons affixed to the front...I can see it now! 8)  You could put some pics and or playing cards under the resin coating on the top!  Looks like you're a helluva handyman, so I'm just throwing some ideas your way!
