Received my smoker bright and early  this morning.  Looks like a good  one and has a little weight to it. Can't wait to season later today. Glad to be able to start smoking again.

Darin,

Congrats and enjoy the look of your new smoker.

It will never look this good again, but after your first smoke you won't care :)

Enjoy Greg

Nice. Mine is supposed to arrive today, or tomorrow but I have to have it held at fedex to pick up after work  :( !

Enjoy!!!

Congrats Darin, Tim you all will enjoy your new smokers. Need to get them seasoned and through some ribs in them bad boys, and later in the week a Boston Butt. Set back and enjoy the good food.

Hey, Tim and Darin....You all are good to go! should be seasoned and smoking by the weekend!
Hope you will be sharing your experiences with us. Good luck!

Getting it seasoned right now. I have a few racks of baby backs and a nice pork shoulder in the freezer ready to smoke. May have to toss a rack in tomorrow lol don't think I can wait until the weekend lol.

Glad you took a picture while it was clean:)  Not that they get "dirty" but you'll get the gist in a few weeks.

I hope so. I've smoked a bunch over the years with good results. I'm wanting to try some Texas Rib Candy-apple/cherry habanero on these. Just hope irs not too hot. I like smoking just about everything lol.

??? :o :o  Not much with "habanero" in the name falls into the "not too hot" category for me!!

Got around to cooking a rack of baby back ribs yesterday. The #3 did a pretty good job. Had it set on 225 and it ran a little high for a little bit then finally settled down to around 225. Happy so far. Going to try it again next weekend.

Hey Darin, I like to cook mine at 235, and they come out tender and falling off the bone. Did you use a water pan next to the smoke box?
