Thought I'd post this since I've seen people asking here and on other forums.
I've used it a couple times and it seemed to me like the air movement is a bit over kill for the #1 smoker anyway. It was pulling so much air that I couldn't get the top shelves anywhere near temp. I started looking at fan speed controllers and it looks like they're luck of the draw on the reasonably priced ones to get one that works and for any length of time with the exception of the Axial controller that as far as I can tell only works with Axial fans. So to get a starting point on changing out the fan I pulled the JJD fan. Its a 120x 120 x25mm, 12 volt, 0.30 amp fan. Its made in China (what a surprise) by Jiang Shan Lai or JSL. Looked up their website and it appears that they don't make the JDH1225S 0.30 amp anymore, instead they have a JDM1225S that has the same specs. If the cfm is the same for both it would be 72.75 CFM.
Im going to try an Axial 1225 with their fan speed controller. Its rated at 51 CFM and I can adjust with the controller if necessary.
