First smoke!

Just got my #2 Thursday, seasoned it Friday, and broke it in with a couple racks of babybacks Saturday.

I coated them in yellow mustard and Famous Dave's rub and put them in the fridge over night. Smoked them at 235 for 5 hours and they came out great!

I also put an 8lb butt on last night and it should be ready in a couple hours. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Thanks guys.  The pork butt came out pretty damn well, also.  I smoked it at 225 and it hit 195 IT after about 16 hours.  Foiled and rested in a cooler for 1.5 hours. Came out pretty tender and moist.  I think I'm going to brine the next one and see if I can tell the difference.

The info posted on this forum really made my first smoke a breeze.  I can't wait to try something else.
