So far this thing is as easy as a microwave oven, though it goes for a few more hours! Never made a turkey before, but here goes. Turned out PERFECT, with tons of leftovers.
#2 Smokin It
5lb in bone breast.
Brine overnight with water and…….
1/3 cup kosher salt
1/3rd brown sugar
3 spoons, Andy Nelson BBQ rub
Morning after………….
Set smoker with turkey in; to 240 with 3 oz cherry (which smoked out at 1 hour and 45 mins) ?????
5 hours and done at 165
After brine was Dijon, more sugar, honey, rubbed over and in before going on the smoker.
