This is a modification to another sauce I have but here goes:
1/2 Onion, minced
3/4 C Cranberry Sauce - I made mine home made since it is so easy
1/2 Tbs Salt
1/4 C Tomato Paste
2 Tbs Liquid Smoke
1/2 C brown sugar
4 cloves garlic, minced
2C ketchup
1/3 C apple cider vinegar
1/4 C worchestershire sauce
1/3 t hot pepper sauce
In a large pan over medium heat, combine the onion, garlic, and cranberry sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes, or until onion is translucent. Mix in the ground black pepper, salt, ketchup, tomato paste, vinegar, liquid smoke, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and hot pepper sauce.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 20 minutes. I ran the sauce through a blender so it would be smooth.
This is a nice sauce with a little more "fruity" flavor. You could probably use other fruits as well but it is Christmas! Great on ribs.
