Thanks, John but, am going with a small fridge to use for brining. And have an old one that I do my rests in. Next on my shopping spree is a Berkel 823E-PLUS 9" Manual Gravity Feed Meat Slicer - 1/4 hp. I can get it at Webrestaurantstore.com for 612. But, first need to replace a 2 year old printer that crapped out on me.  I have had serious problems, lost an Auber and it is in the mail back to Auber for repairs, then the printer died on me when I need to print some information for the Auber mailing. woe is me. lol

Hey John,

I went with the 35 qt pelican and could not be happier. I will be able to use it as a cooler, use to my briskets and then brine a turkey in it. For the turkey I plan to use True Liberty Turkey Bags they are about $1.00 each on Amazon and then just fill the cooler with ice!

Take a look at rtic coolers if you want a cheaper yeti knockoff.  I ordered one of the 20s for my kayak.  Not suppose to get it until september though before I can get a review.

Wow these looks great, I wish I had seen this earlier. I originally bought the 45 Qt Pelican and exchanged it for a 35 Qt. But when comparing it to the Yeti it was much larger on the outside and heavier.  So round three, I exchanged it and bought a 30 Qt Yeti yesterday which I really like.

I maybe have to break down and buy one of the RTIC 20 Qt once they start shipping!

When I did the preorder sign up list in July, they had all the Yeti colors listed.  Looks like they are only doing white and tan for the initial release.  Probably will eventually come out in other colors.
