Burnt Ends on a trip

Ok, I'm a pork guy but found this place while on a trip in MD near Ocean City.

These were advertised as "burnt ends" but personally I thought it was sauced up pot roast!

Please inform someone that has yet to make a brisket and uses his SI machine pretty much for pork if this was legit.

Place was a shack, packed and had a wide menu.  My wife said I should have ordered the pork, but I am one to stray from things I make at home.

Chips were "homemade". Sides were good.  Tasted good but I've done this in a crock pot.

John, I think your assessment was correct, and I would say they don't really know what burnt ends are, in Maryland!

p.s.  Ordering burnt ends in MD is probably like ordering clam chowder in Montana!

If you ever make your way to San Antonio Id like to suggest Big Bib BBQ.  Went there Friday night and had Baby Back Pork Ribs and Pulled Pork....AMAZING!  My buddy I went with had the brisket and he said it was amazing as well.  I should have stolen some from his plate for verification.  Sides were decent as well.  They were rated number 1 on Yelp for a reason.
