Two 9# butt, on SI #3, with Auber running 225d,
took out at 195d, cook time - 12.5 hrs,
wrapped in foil, rested for 2 hrs in cooler.
Turned out great. SI#3 and Auber worked
flawlessly. Awesome, super equipment.
My two 9.5# butts are still in the #2 ...... we at 185 internal temperature but have been in for almost 18 hours. .... lol had heat issues early. Would not get above 215 when set at 225..... so I cranked to 250 and we bouncing from 215-239. Won't be long now.
I had the same thing with the #3 until I got the Auber.
Had two 7# butts in. After 16hrs, got tried of waiting, checked the butts with the fork test and
and both butts were done. Let them rest in cooler, turned out great.
