Hello. My wife recently got me the Model 1. It was for the Birthday/Christmas present. I had looked around and somehow came across Smokin-it. It was love at first sight.. So, I received the gift, seasoned and was off!!!
First, Smoked Salmon. Did a little brown sugar/salt cure and boom. Next, baby backs. Had 2 different rubs, I really just wanted to smoke something and get some cook time in for the finale. Brisket for Christmas...my son, the Marine, was home so I wanted to have my stuff in order... I had a 14 pounder, so I cut it in half and it fit perfectly. Anyway, this is not my detailed post, but it came out perfect..
So, I'm just here to say "I'm here" and I love my smoker!!!!!!
