Beef Tenderloin today

I decided to try something new today. I injected a whole tenderloin and did a simple rub with just Montreal seasoning.  I smoked it at 200 to and IT of 130 then did a reverse sear on the grill.  It was amazing. You could cut it with a fork.

Honestly not much. We sauteed up some cabbage, carrots, onion and peppers in a cast iron skillet and some biscuits.

We really made out with meat. My wife won a $250 gift certificate from a local grocery store. We waited until they did their semi annual meat bonanza to redeem it. We picked up 5 tri tips, two beef tenderloins, a few pork tenderloins, several packs of baby back ribs, a couple of boston butts and it came to less than $25 out of pocket.

JC...I don't recall exactly, it didn't take long. I want to say less than 2 hours but then I reverse seared it on the propane grill for a few minutes.
