Anyone ever smoke 4 butts in a #3 at same time

I need to smoke 4 butts for a large meeting next weekend.  I'm wondering if I need to rotate the shelves or do anything special?  Should I refill the smoke box with wood at some point?  Should I smoke at 235 or 250 for this kind of loads?

I'm interested to hear anyone's experiences in smoking with this heavy of a load!

I haven't done four butts but I have done two whole hog heads. I would think the overall mass would have been greater with the heads. I cooked those heads for sixteen hours (I think).

I recommend placing the two smaller butts closest to the door. On my #3 the back of the smoker is hotter than the front.

I would also tie all of them with butchers twine as some will breakdown more than others. The twine helps hold them together when unloading.

I recommend 235-240 for a large meat load like that.  Won't hurt the outcome at all, and will keep the cook time more reasonable.
