American made temp probe?

Is there a reasonable US made Maverick  alternative,  preferably  2 to 4 probe. I see controversy  re the overall  user experience  w the 735

I have heard some on the later models.  If you can find a 732, it has 2 probes (one is supposed to be the box probe, but stick the meat probe in a piece, then remove and use the box probe in that one...or just buy a second meat probe) and the only complaint I could have about it is the one way alarm setting...it only goes up so you have to go past the high temp (540?) to get from 195 to 150.

Other than that, it has been a solid unit for me and my Q comes out great

George - I think they still need to work a few kinks out of the 735.  I use a 732, and couldn't be happier! It doesn't matter where it's made, as long as it works! ;)

George-
I use a HeaterMeter. It supports WiFi, up to 4 probes (or 1 thermocouple PID control and 3 probes). Search for HeaterMeter on the forums here and you can read about it. It can also be used as a PID controller (like the Auber).
