i have a 3D which is awesome but my last smoke was 2 racks of baby backs set at 235 for 5hrs the smoker kept running to 5.2 and didnt shut off the meat probe shuts off at the proper temp not a huge deal but any help would be great thanks
Don't know if I understood correctly but the smoker will hold the box temp long, long after the time or meat temp per the program is reached. If you aren't going to pull the meat when it reaches the desired temp one has to do a little guessing and set those points earlier to account for continued cooking.
sorry i didnt explain it clearly it runs after the programed time like if you set it for 5 hrs it will keep running past 5hrs .When you use the meat probe it works fine shuts off at the proper temp
Check to make sure that there isn't a program 2 in there. It will keep running after program 1 parameters are met if you have a program 2 in the Auber. Make sure all your other programs are all zeros.
