3D extra parts question

Got 2 black metal pieces that were loose inside the grill. Any idea what they are for? Not long enough to go front to back and to long to go side to side. Thanks

They are used for packaging only. You can discard or recycle.

In side the grill?
If inside the box when opened there just supports for packing to help from damage to smoker.

Thanks ND.  Well I got it today, opened it. Has a dent on the top. Sent Steve a email asking about it. He said it was damaged in shipping even though the box had no damage. So got looking closer the bottom side(side that the hinges are on) looks like someone took a grinder to it and there's some bad looking fab work there, clearly not from shipping. This kinda $ it should be dang near perfect IMO.  I thought cust service was a strong point here and that factored into my purchase. But it sure appears I got a scratch and dent model at full price.  Hopefully he makes it right and it's happy smokin from here out.
