Know the source of your Salmon!
« on: September 23, 2014, 02:39:54 PM »
Well, not entirely smoking related, but kind of. Alaskan silvers from a recent trip on the fly rod.

So far I've only grilled them, but I have another 8lbs in the freezer.

I had a blast, Talkeetna, AK. It was so much fun.  I was a zombie for days afterwards with coho on the brain for days afterward, in fact the next week I was lucky enough to go to Puget Sound fishing and crabbing.  Can't wait to go back.

Very nice!  Alaska is amazingly beautiful! (During the right time of year, that is!) ;)
