Well. Today finished last tweaks for winter setup. Installed hood and exhaust to outside (works great). Added cabinet for smoking supplies. Presently auto tuning Auber PID. NOTE will leave garage door ajar 2" for fresh air although likely not necessary. Initially one can smell smoke during the heavy smoke stages; however come the second hour there is no trace or smell of smoke which is very different compared to no exhaust hood.

Presently pork butt rubbed and waiting for an 18 hour marathon smoke to be ready Christmas Day. Optimistic better results in store this round.

That is a really cool set-up but I'm with rickne, I am really impressed with your garage!  You should see where I have to store my #2!

A suggestion, if I may, to really push your installation over the top (not that it isn't already):  Install a urinal on the wall next to the smoking area!  A urinal in my garage is something I have dreamed of for years.

Very nice!  I have a similar setup but mine is a little more "ghetto" looking!

Grew up loving the north... Four seasons snowmobiling skiing ice fishing... It's really kind of fun. 

Have to agree come March the natives get restless.
