FNG FROM WYOMING
« on: June 24, 2016, 03:15:59 AM »
Hello all my name is Patrick a Culinary grad now Jeweler... I love Cigars, Coffee, and Cooking!  (usually in that Order and doing all three at the same time)

My love for cooking and learning new ways of cooking got me interested in smoking.

I bought a Model #3 and PID controller about 2 years ago and I have been learning more and more about what you can and shouldn't do.  So far I have smoked at least a ton of Ribs, some pork butts, Turkeys, Chickens, and even making my own sausage and smoking them...

Always looking to try new things so if you have any suggestions please don't hesitate to give me some.  Looking forward to learning more and seeing what everyone else is smoking!

Welcome from Texas Patrick!  Its nice to know we have a real chef on the forum to ask questions of.  Several members have been using sous vide and making some delicious foods. Until recently I had never heard of it. I look foreword to your contributions.

Welcome from the Hudson Valley, possibly your old stomping grounds, as it is home to the Culinary Institute of America.

I can't believe it took you 2 years to log on and introduce yourself ;). But better late than never.

Welcome from ND Patrick!
