Your thoughts and input requested
« on: January 13, 2018, 07:03:35 PM »
Have the opportunity to acquire this cabinet at a good price. My question is if I put it on a covered patio with no possibility of rain coming in contact with it, would the moisture in air negatively impact the wood doors? Thanks for your thoughts. In the Dallas area.

From a humidity standpoint, keeping the exposed areas waxed should have you covered.  Sunlight can also damage wood over time.   Are the doors solid or a veneer?  Just curious.

Sunlight will not be an issue as it will sit far enough back direct sun will never hit it. I will have to take a relook to see what kind of wood.

As I said above, if the edges are protected, they should not absorb moisture and you should be OK.
