New to the Smokin It Family
« on: December 31, 2017, 09:43:00 AM »
Hello from a new member of the Smokin-It forum. I've been smoking meats for 15 years, primarily in an old Brinkman electric smoker. It finally bit the dust, which led me to a lot of research for a new and better replacement. After scouring companies, reviews, and a lot of comments on this forum, decided on the Model #1 which a received for Christmas. The unit is small, simple, and well-built. Exactly what I am looking for. Already seasoned and had our first smoke, a nice sized, pork butt, but will save the outcome for another post. Looking forward to the conversations and information from this great forum.
Dave from Severna Park, MD
