I've often scratched my head about wings in the smoker.  Seems like a lot more work than just grilling them and basting them when you flip them.  After looking at your pictures, and seeing how great they look...I just might have try it after all.  What temp, and how long did you smoke them?

They came out great especially considering I winged it. HaHa pun intended.
Made a basic rub
Kosher salt
Black Pepper
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Smoked paprika
Couple pinches brown sugar
Tossed the wings and let them sit for about 3 hours
Put the on sriracha right before going in the smoker not a lot just a couple of lines and tossed to coat
Smoked 250 .5 oz apple wood .5 oz cherry wood for about 2.5 hours
Pulled them squeezed fresh lime on them and finished on the gasser till the skin crisped.

Thanks for sharing this! I used a spice blend from Penzey's (their BBQ 3000) and followed your method. The wings were to die for! (And this was only my third smoke!) I didn't add the sriracha and lime because my hubs feared they'd be too spicy.  ;) I'm going to make another batch today and try the sriracha/lime on half. Thanks again!
