2 Pork Shoulders - Same amount of wood?
« on: September 11, 2016, 12:37:55 PM »
If I smoke (2) 8 pound pork shoulders, how much wood would I use?  I normally use 5-6 oz of hickory for an 8lb shoulder.  Any will it take longer to cook than just 1?

+1 The only thing I might change is that when smoking two butts, I bump the heat up to 235 from my usual 225. If you already smoke at 235 stick with 235.
