Question on auber
« on: August 17, 2016, 03:33:57 PM »
I am trying to set up auber for a brisket program.  Its a GPH1500 stand along Auber.  Probe is mounted in the box and one drop in.

I turn it on and it is displaying the two temps.  I push set.  It displays C01 which I changed to 225.  I push set again and it goes back to displaying the two temps.  It does not let me get into the steps, etc.  What am I doing wrong?  Per the instructions I should go from C01 225 to E01, but it just goes back to displaying probe temps.

I called Auber.  Previous owner had it programmed single setting not stepped.  Problem solved.  There is a code to change from the two settings under the LCK programming mode.

666 was the reset code.  3 was the code for changing between a stepped cook and just single regulated temp cook.  166 is the code for tuning it.  Just an FYI.  I guess most people don't get a used controller, but in case you forget.  Default setting is the stepped cooking so you may have never even known it has a constant regulated setting...
