#2 temp probe
« on: May 01, 2016, 10:30:45 AM »
I've had my #2 for almost a year now and aside from cleaning the bottom and wood box, nothing else. Question is does the build up on the temp probe cause any difference in operation? Can it act as an insulator? asking cause the probe is really hard to get to.

I don't know if build up on the temp probe will affect operation, but I do clean it periodically just to be on the safe side.   You really only need to clean the tip of the probe.  I use a wet paper towel and wipe it down.
