Turning 40 & starting a new habit...smoking!
« on: March 22, 2016, 10:00:43 PM »
I turn 40 this Saturday and decided to take up a new habit...smoking.  I've been researching Smokin-it smokers for little over a year now and he read numerous reviews and have heard nothing but get things about Smokin-it smokers.  With that said my #1 just arrived today and I'm not sure who's more excited me or my 14 year old son.  I will say he was bummed that I wasn't able to smoke in it right away.  I will also say that it is a little bit of a tease to have the house start to smell like hickory from the seasoning going on outside on our patio.  Here's to hoping I can get my first ribs and wings done this weekend to celebrate the big 40!

Wish me luck!

Hey everyone, Im planning on smoking some wings tomorrow and I am wondering what type of rub I should use.  Also, should I apply the rub and let sit over night similar to ribs?

Thanks everyone.

Adam, head over to the Poultry board, and type "wings" into the search bar.  LOTS of posts on wings!
