Building a Cart for my Model 3
« on: January 30, 2016, 08:35:10 PM »
Started on my cart this weekend, still have a few afternoons left to finish it but thought I would post some progress pictures.  The stain is a weathered gray and is lighter in person than it shows in the picture.

I like that stain, esp with the top showing the wood a bit.

Nice.

Matt, I hope you can move it when you are finished.  You build heck of stout!  LOL!  What are you doing with the open space?

Lol.  Yea I have a habit of over doing things, I think you could land a helicopter on this thing.  I got the hardibacker and tile installed tonight (tile is wet in the picture hence the bad glare).  I'm going to build a door and put all of my supplies/wood chunks in the space below.  Things left to do are:  floor, trim, door, and casters.

Thank you.  I love building rustic items because wrong cuts and measurements make it look that much more authentic lol.
