Quality

I've bought so many things over the years that was junk. I'm so happy with the quality of this smoker (#2). That I recommend anybody thinking of buying one just do it. It's everything they say and more. The quality of workmanship and design are the best. Money well spent.

+2  I am thankful every day that I found the smoking-it site before I made the decision to purchase!  I think this is the best electric smoker on the market.

Hey Bill, Welcome from Kansas City, I have the #1 & #3 smokers. Got a really good deal on the #3 from a person going into competition smoking. I foresee many good smoked foods headed your way. And yes they are built like tanks.

Has anyone in the group had a SS wire grill weld break?  I was cleaning the grills after a smoke, using water and a wire brush to clean off the meat and I hear a pop sound and one of the welds on the wire grill just broke.  This is the new 3D grills and my maiden smoke this evening ;-(. Just curious if anyone else in the group has had that happen?  I wonder if JB weld would be the way to fix it?  Thanks all!

I doubt you'd have to sent it back to him. I would just email him a picture of the damaged spot, and I am guessing that he would send you a new one.

Or a little JB Weld would work or find a local welder to take 2-minutes of time to weld it back on. I had to take a piece of my stick burner grate to a local welder and he charged me $5.
