I've had one of these baskets for years and almost forgot about it.
Perfect fit on the #2. Just a 1/4 shy of sitting on the racks themselves!
Great for nuts, pretzels or anything you don't want to fall over. Peppers and such.
My basket measures 11 3/4 and 13 3/4 inches. The ones listed on amazon seem a bit larger unless thats the box size.
Weber does make a bigger one I think that might work on a #3?
