Leftover smoked chicken dinner
« on: May 23, 2015, 05:32:58 PM »
I still had some leftover smoked chicken, so I added it to a dutch oven with mashed potatoes and gravy and put in the oven for 45 minutes.

The results, not only was the chicken good the second time around, but the potatoes picked up the smoke flavor!

Now that's my kind of comfort food Greg. I grew up on them and love dishes like that. Was the gravy homemade?

Hey Arnie,

Yes I made the gravy also, it was an easy dinner, with very few dishes for my wife which she liked :)

Was it a smoked gravy from the chicken or was it your own recipe?

Thanks Jason,

I am not a big leftover fan, but this turned out good.
