Injecting Question
« on: February 08, 2014, 12:45:33 PM »
What do you suggest using for injecting briskets etc?  Where do you get? On-line or at brick/mortars?  One last one....doing a 4.7 lb brisket today...how much wood do u suggest for a 7 hour smoke @ 225? Thanks.

I see your brisket came out great, from your other post.  If you want to try something different, here's a brisket recipe with injection.  You can substitute any full-bodied beer for the Foster's (that's just my preference).

Try a full packer-cut sometime instead of a flat.  While the flats are convenient, and a lot smaller, the packer (which includes the point) tends to cook better.  But hey, your flat turned out great!
