Title: BBQ/Garlic Aioli
Post by: SuperDave on January 23, 2015, 04:30:13 PM
Pulled pork sandwiches, brisket sandwiches.... anything on a bun or roll.  If you typically use straight bbq sauce as a condiment, try this with your next smoke.

1 cup mayonnaise
2 large or 3 medium cloves of fresh garlic, minced. (Got to use fresh)
3 Tbsp hickory bbq sauce
1 Tbsp lemon juice

Mix ingredients and allow to rest in the frig for an hour or 2 before meal is served to allow garlic to infuse the sauce.  heaven on a bun and a nice change from straight bbq sauce.

Have you considered smoking the garlic?

SuperDave, thanks for sharing this recipe. I was looking for a BBQ Aioli recipe to use for some left over pork loin sandwiches. I gave this a try and it was great on a pork loin sandwich.

And don't be afraid to tweak it.  An extra clove of garlic or alter ratios to suit your tastes.

I make something very similar but with skim milk yogurt(home made) as the base. Delicious and healthy!
