Title: Heat Buffer
Post by: SuperDave on January 19, 2015, 07:56:25 PM
I had some free time today so I cut some tiles I had laying around in the garage as a coldplate to add even more temperature buffer from the heating element.

Air bake cookie sheet for the ice pan to sit on.

Looks good. What is the goal or intent if I don't mind asking?
Is this for cold smokes?

I had read and had limited experience that placing a large baking sheet on the bottom rung to catch juices was not good for the temperature in the box.

hmmm, I have some of those too laying around from old floor project.  I guess there is no downside?  Clean in dishwasher 1st>

Make sure we mention, this is NOT THE FLEXIBLE STUFF i.e plastic.

Disclosure.

Nice out of the box think
