Problem with my smoker
« on: January 14, 2017, 08:30:49 AM »
I have a major problem with my smoker and this forum. I am having too much fun cooking on my SI2 and this forums provides to many ideas and suggestions for things to try. Causing me to want to cook and eat all the time. Therefore, I am having a problem getting my clothes to fit. Has anyone else had this problem. Thanks to all on this forum for the great ideas.

Don't worry, it's quite common. I also have this problem.

Unfortunately it is a chronic condition. But don't worry, you will soon learn to prioritize your other life activities around your smoking schedule.  ;D

Yep. Same here. Got my SI2 for Christmas and have smoked something every week since then. The wife and kids are afraid I'm going to smoke everything in sight. I said "what's wrong with that?" 8)

Ron, my wife gave me the SI2 for Christmas to get me excited about cooking again. She could be regretting her decision. The grocery bills have be escalating and I made a trip to the Auber office to pick up an Auber this week. Looking forward to some ribs this weekend ( then Salmon later in the week ).

I solved the problem by going into my toolbox to locate my hole punch.  Now I have another notch on my belt and all is good in the world.

Bob, belt notches are acceptable, just refuse to buy bigger waisted pants, that's the equivalent of admitting defeat.  LOL!  I'll even leave a button undone but no bigger pants are going in my closet.   ;)
