New Title
« on: December 06, 2017, 09:28:08 PM »
No doubt many of you have noticed that I am now a global moderator. I have known Steve since early 2012, long before there was a forum.  He and I talked regularly about smokers and such and eventually starting a forum, which he did in early 2013. Steve heard from Tony several weeks back, a short message but nothing about returning. Long story short, I was recently asked if I would help out as another administrator and I declined but did say I would act as a moderator. Many forums have an administrator and several moderators, so I accepted that title. And in talking with Steve, he may be inviting some additional members to become moderators. Tony remains as the visible Administrator and Ben as the behind the scenes IT/Administrator. If anyone has any questions or wants more information, feel free to send me a PM.

Thanks Sarge for the update and for stepping in as a "Global Moderator." You have always been a great contributor to this forum and ambassador for Smokin-It.

David, thank you for stepping up to this. We have done well so far as a forum without a moderator but I suspect that it was not sustainable in the long run. Again, thanks for this and all your valuable contributions.

Thanks Roger. As the forum goes we were doing well. But Steve wanted to ensure that there was a formal presence keeping things moving.

And thank you Michael.
