Smoked a Turkey Breast this weekend
« on: October 02, 2017, 09:02:25 AM »
Smoked a bone-in Turkey Breast (6.61 lbs.) this weekend on my Model #2.

Brined for 4 hours in a cooler.  Orange juice, apple juice, cajun spice, salt, brown sugar, molasses, black pepper, yellow onion, Worcester sauce, and a bag of ice.

Smoked at 225 F for 4 hours and 10 minutes.  Temp. hit 165 F.

Pulled off smoker, wrapped for 30 minutes, sliced.

Turned out great!!!

Looks delicious! Turkey breast is easy, and way better quality, tastier, and more economical than buying it at the deli. :P

Without a doubt.  I love doing these turkey breasts.  I'm sure I'll crank out one more before Thanksgiving.

That looks delicious! It has been a long time since I've done one of those. I think it may be time to get one!

Thanks.  Yeah, it had been a while since I last smoked one myself.  I guess since last Thanksgiving.  Not sure why because every time I do one they turn out great and everyone loves them.
