Need Help With Jerky On 3D
« on: September 29, 2016, 11:39:44 AM »
Gonna smoke some jerky this weekend. What temp and how log. Will be using round eye. I don't have the Jerky fan but I do have a good dehydrator I can move the Jerky to to finish it off. Any help would be great!

Smoke it at 140°, for 2 hours, then move to the dehydrator at 140.  You may need to use chips, or chunks that have been split into slivers, to get good low-temp smoke.  This is how I do it, but have the jerky fan, so that's when I add it.  Two full hours of smoke, at low-temp, will give it plenty.
