Soft shelled crabs
« on: April 09, 2016, 04:33:31 PM »
It is soft shell crab season where I live.  Anyone ever tried smoking them? Not sure what they would be like, but any thoughts on how to go about it would be appreciated. TIA

If I had access to soft shells they would NEVER get smoked. Pan seared in butter is perfection to me.

 :P :P :P Me too!

Too delicate of a flavor to put much (if any) smoke on them. Lightly flour and saute in butter!
