3D Shelf Spacing
« on: March 21, 2016, 01:32:55 PM »
I'm considering a Model 3D and can't find anything on the Smokin-it website that tells me the spacing between the shelves or the distance from the bottom shelf to the inside top of the box.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello from the very bottom place you can put a rack is 14 1/2 inches to the top and bout 2 3/4 inches between racks.
I just bought the 3D and love it!!!!!

I took some measurements with some pictures in this post:

Note - I purchased the add-on side rails that include 9 shelf spaces, but this is just a standard 5 tray rack with extra shelves welded in place. So, you can still see the measurements with and without the additional tray guides.

Hopefully this helps.

Smokin-It #3 (purchased in 2014) that replaced a Masterbuilt XL (ugh) and a 10+ Year-Old Big Chief (still used for fish), and few others over the years, along with variety of Weber Gas/Charcoal Grills, Anova Sous Vide, etc. devices.
